How

to

work

together

There are many ways to begin this work, but they all start with the same foundation:

your nervous system, your pace, and your lived experience.

Most people who find their way here aren’t falling apart, they’re holding it together. They’re functional, capable, thoughtful, and often deeply self-aware. But they’re running their lives from a nervous system that feels overwhelmed, over-activated, or shut down.

Working with me is not about trying harder or performing “healthy.” It’s about understanding your internal patterns, building real regulation, and creating more emotional and physiological capacity for your life.

What working together can look like:

THERAPY FOR HIGH-PERFORMING NERVOUS SYSTEMS

Ongoing individual therapy

This is for people who are functioning on the outside, but internally feel anxious, tense, shut down, or overwhelmed. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, yet still feel stuck in patterns their insight alone hasn’t shifted.

Therapy focuses on:

  • Understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, threat, and connection

  • Tracking patterns in emotion, thought, and behavior without pathologizing them

  • Building regulation, capacity, and flexibility over time

  • Integrating insight into lived, embodied change

This work is collaborative, paced, and grounded in both science and real life. It’s not about fixing you, it’s about helping your system feel safer, steadier, and more resilient.

Good fit if: you’re looking for deeper, sustained support and want space to work with longstanding patterns and you want to bill to your insurance.

I accept Premera Blue Cross and Aetna insurances, and sessions may be covered depending on your plan’s copay, coinsurance, or deductible. Private pay or out of network sessions are billed at $175 per session. Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes and occur weekly or biweekly.

This work is not short-term coaching or symptom-only treatment, and it’s not designed for crisis intervention. Therapy is open-ended and best suited for people who want deeper, sustained support.

You can begin by scheduling a brief consultation to explore fit or by reaching out directly about availability. You do not need to be in crisis to start, and we can always reassess pace and frequency as we go.

NERVOUS SYSTEM MAPPING SESSION

A single, focused session for clarity and direction

This is a one-time, 75 minute structured session designed to help you understand how your nervous system actually works, under stress, in relationships, and in everyday life.

Together, we map:

  • Your primary stress and survival responses

  • Patterns of overdrive, shutdown, or oscillation

  • What triggers your system and what helps it settle

  • Where regulation can realistically begin

You leave with a clear framework for understanding your experience and concrete next steps, whether or not you continue in therapy.

Good fit if: you want clarity before committing, feel stuck but unsure where to start, or want something concrete right away.

This session is a flat-rate private pay offering of $250 and is not billed to insurance. It does not establish an ongoing therapeutic relationship unless you choose to continue afterward. It is not therapy, crisis care, or a substitute for higher-level mental health support if that is needed.

You can book a Mapping Session directly through the scheduling link. A brief questionnaire is provided beforehand to help focus the session. Some people use this as a standalone experience, while others use it as a first step before deciding on therapy or a short series.

Clinical Supervision for Licensed & Pre-Licensed Therapists

This offering is for clinicians working toward full licensure in Washington State (LMHCA) who are seeking a supervisor to support the completion of required clinical hours and professional development. Many supervisees I work with are thoughtful, capable clinicians who care deeply about their clients and want to practice ethically and confidently as they move toward gaining hours toward full independent licensure.

Supervision focuses on:

  • Understanding how your own nervous system responds in the therapy room

  • Tracking countertransference, attachment dynamics, and stress responses without shame

  • Building clinical clarity, confidence, and capacity over time

  • Integrating theory, ethics, and insight into an embodied, sustainable therapeutic identity

This work is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in both clinical responsibility and nervous system awareness. It’s not about rigid rule-following or performance.

Good fit if: you want supervision that supports both your clinical development and your nervous system, and you’re interested in slowing down patterns of overwork, anxiety, or self-criticism in your role as a therapist.

Supervision is offered to pre-licensed and licensed clinicians and may be individual or small-group depending on availability. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and occur weekly or biweekly. Fees and supervision agreements will be discussed directly to ensure alignment with licensing requirements and professional goals. It is best suited for clinicians who want depth, reflection, and long-term growth in how they practice and sustain themselves in the field.

You can begin by reaching out to inquire about supervision availability or by scheduling a brief consultation to explore fit and licensing needs.

CONSULTS · SPEAKING · WRITING

Professional collaboration and public work

I offer consultation, writing, and speaking for professionals, organizations, and platforms interested in nervous-system-informed perspectives on modern stress, burnout, trauma, and regulation.

This may include:

  • Professional consultation

  • Workshops or talks

  • Writing or content collaboration

If you’re interested in working together in this way, reach out to discuss possibilities.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

You don’t need to decide on your own.

If you’re unsure which option fits, a brief consultation can help clarify what would be most supportive right now. You’re also welcome to spend time reading Still Wired to get a feel for how I think and work.

There’s no rush. Start where it feels most accessible.
