my approach
My approach is integrated through various types of therapeutic modalities that combine to grant a more holistic approach to body and mind. These modalities include:

With all those combined I use a more holistic approach, considering things like movement, environment, and sleep which all play into impacting mental health. I also strongly integrate bottom up processing, exploring what the body is trying to communicate.
I approach clients through a similar series of stages which I have found explore the causes of the greatest contributing factors when it comes to things like anxiety, depression and panic.

Through an intake questionnaire and initial session we'll explore what is coming up for you and what your experiences have been all to give me a solid foundation of who you are and what makes you tick.

Navigate past experiences and how they have impacted your biology and brain to create the patterns and reactions that exist in your life currently.
My Philosophy
There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, everyone has their own unique history and are coming from different parts of their own individual journey.
I strongly believe that we are products of our lived experiences and as such don't tend to throw diagnoses around as an explanation for why you are the way you are.
I also provide affirming, inclusive care to all those who belong to marginalized groups, LGBTQIA+, navigating polyamory, all humans are welcome with me. ✌️

what is it like?
I'm a no bull-shit therapist. You are paying me for my time and expertise and if I notice something, I'll share it and we can work through what it means and how you may feel about it.
I am very comfortable working with you if you are also nervous, unclear what to talk about or how to approach something (you won't have to just sit in silence.) I'll also use various metaphors to explain things in a way that can help make different complex things more understandable.
I'm generally a very curious person, I tend to ask a lot of exploratory questions to help me understand how you approach various things. I also take your lead in terms of where your energy is at and won't push you if you aren't ready to talk about something.
Aside from that, as a human I am genuinely warm, affirming and validating. Past clients would report that they feel safe in my presence and that they feel comfortable, seen and heard.
I also love to laugh and often share in humor with clients.
